WOW!
The tone knob allowed me to get creamy tones as well as sparkling shine.
Tone City!
Very versatile.
It sounds like an old 60’s combo amp… a good one.
I didn’t think I needed another “drive” on my board. Boy, was I wrong.
Great job guys! Mucho Kudos!!!
More to come…

TONE TONE TONE!
The G-TOD is one amazing animal.
It sounds way sweet. Cops “Funk 49″ to a “T”.
This thing goes from clean to mean with great in-between breakup.

TONE TONE TONE!

The G-TOD is one amazing animal.

It sounds way sweet. Cops “Funk 49″ to a “T”.

This thing goes from clean to mean with great in-between breakup.

The G-TOD is everything I thought and more. Still switching around on different amps with different tubes. Each amp has its own sweet spot with the G-TOD.

As far as note definition this pedal is the king. Most pedals DO loose clarity but the G-TOD remains transparent.

Here’s the coolest part. This thing cleans up beautifully with rolling back the guitar volume. Not a hint of hair. I do not know of any pedal that does this.

The first gig I used it with my strat I had guys coming up to me asking how I was getting my tone!

I set my G-Tod on Drive 1 with gain at “0″ and warmed up my POD 2.3 bean wonderfully.

FYI everyone… I got the SWELL G-TOD a while back and absolutely fell in love with it.

I FINALLY found something that doesn’t color the tone of my guitars and amp.

I tried it with my Mesa Boogie Maverick, and I think I saw God.

The best way I can think of to describe this pedal is… It makes me feel completely “connected” to my instrument.

You know it must sound great when the band and the soundman actually notice something is different, and comment about how good the tone is. That’s what happened when I used it on the first gig. Now, all my friends here in town are scrambling to find one.

Now I don’t have to work so hard trying to pull those subtle nuances out of my axe.

It’s pure, musical, and harmonically accurate. I hear alot more “hand tone”.

This pedal sounds amazing across the board!

From bluesy to full throttle modded Marshall - it’s got it all.

The tone knob is really musical sounding not harsh or floppy, so tweeking is a breeze.

This is the first pedal that allows the true tone of my guitars to shine through.

It’s SUPER quiet and being a session guy, the last thing I need is a noisy mess!

Very cool! It sounds like a freakin amp! I cut a few tracks on my protools rig and you really couldn’t tell that it was direct.

It’s built like a tank with a 10 year warranty (Wow), it sounds great, and the guys at SWELL are cool.

This has been the most significant and best overall change to my pedalboard EVER!

I think that overall I would have to give this little box a big fat 10.

I made some real estate available on my pedal board for some more SWELL stuff.

I would highly recommend this pedal!

Dave from Love Monkey Studios visted the SWELL Pedal booth at NAMM and fell in love with the G-TOD.

The following is taken from Dave’s NAMM Report Blog…

” SWELL Pedals: If I had a best in show, this would be it.

These guys are a new startup company based out of Nashville, and their overdrive pedal was by far the best overdrive I’ve ever used.

It’s called the G-TOD, and I just couldn’t get over how good it sounded.

I’m thinking about adding one of these for my clients(and me!) to use.

I also used their EQ pedal(VM-TEQ) which was equally great.

Really outstanding!

I hope they’re a huge success.”

For more go to Dave’s site at www.lovemonkeystudios.com.
