B-Valve v.2
Mid-gain bass drive pedal – $299.99
The B-Valve’s recipe for TONE is one-part edge, two-parts drive mixed with focused lows in a compact and easy to use mid-gain push-drive pedal from SWELL.
Add to that Classic British mid-range growl so real that you would swear we had squeezed an amp inside this box.
As with all SWELL drives the Valve has smooth natural compression, rich complex overtones and is fundamentally transparent with NO loss of low-end frequencies.
Select between Drive’s 1 & 2 for the just the right amount of gain and the NEW Boost remote jack (another SWELL 1st) gives you unparalleled control of your signal level with any simple latching on/off footswitch.
All of this while remaining dead-quiet even with the output level control maxed out!
From your home Studio to the stage cranked amp tone and feel at any volume level via Amp and/or Record outs.
The G-Valve…your ticket to tone has arrived.

V.2 Series New features:
- Push & Cut switches
- Remote Boost jack
- Also have been re-voiced (less compressed, more open, bigger, etc., etc.)
- New look–easier to read and looks great
The Push and Fat switches function as follows:
3-Way Fat switch
- Fat (up)
- Normal (middle)
- Thick (down)
*Fat switch alters lower mids.
3-Way Push (Level) switch
- Sweet (up)
- Push (middle)
- Low (down)
*The Push switch effect is similar to a variable wattage selector on an amp.
Example: in low mode the pedal behaves like a 50 watt head—pissed off, more focused attack, etc. In Push mode (maximum output) it acts like a 100 watt head—smoother, more low end authority, etc. And Sweet is the sweet spot in the middle.
*So to sum it up the Push switch, aside from giving total control of the pedal output (coupled with the Level control) also effects the voicing, too.
Remote Boost jack:
*Any simple latching ON/OFF footswitch will work here.
Pedal must be engaged for this to function (Drive 1 or Drive 2 must be on). The Remote Boost jack works in conjunction with the 3-Way Level switch. When the Remote Boost is engaged the pedal is operating in Push mode (max output). When disengaged it defaults to wherever the Push switch is set. This allows the player to choose the amount of boost needed.
In this section my intent is to give added insight into SWELL products and their intended applications, etc.
